Miss Ann Wang, the founder of APT Group, had a dream. She wanted to create a hairdressing empire that would set a new standard for the beauty industry in Malaysia. Her journey to achieving this dream was filled with challenges and obstacles, but her unwavering determination and passion for her craft saw her through. Growing up, Miss Ann Wang was always fascinated by the art of hairdressing. She knew from a young age that this was her calling in life. After completing her Masters of Business Administration in the USA, she returned to Malaysia with a clear goal in mind - to build a hairdressing brand that would be the envy of the industry. Despite her extensive education, Miss Ann Wang knew that her success would not be measured by her academic achievements alone. She immersed herself in the world of hairdressing, learning new skills and techniques from around the globe. She traveled to Milan, Korea, Paris, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and many more places to explore new hairdressing trends. Miss Ann Wang's hard work paid off when she won several prestigious awards, including the SME Women Entrepreneur Award in 2009, Best Hairstylist Of the Country 2003 in Hong Kong, and The e-Entrepreneurship Excellence Award in 2005. These awards not only recognized her talent and dedication but also inspired her to strive for even greater heights. Miss Ann Wang's dedication to excellence saw her lead APT Group to receive the Superbrands Malaysia's Choice status in 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2018, and the company was also listed in The Malaysia Book of Records for being the largest Hair Salon Chain in Malaysia. But Miss Ann Wang's success is not just measured by her numerous accolades. She is also committed to giving back to the industry that has given her so much. She established a hairdressing college to provide a platform for young talents to start their journey in the beauty industry. She plans to open more branches in Malaysia as well as overseas and develop a more comprehensive franchise and salon management system. She also devotes her time and resources to education and development for her staff and young talents in the beauty industry.
